Fresh Doughnuts at the Baltimore Farmers Market

The Baltimore Farmer’s Market is one of my favorite places to be on Sundays. It’s a great atmosphere, tons of great food, and it really makes me appreciate the city more. While making our second trip to Zeke’s, my friend Amy noticed a stall on the end of the row. It was fresh doughnuts!!!

They use this awesome machine that makes a bunch of warm, douughnuts. Then, you go over to the fixin’s station, pictured below, and add whatever you want–powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, chocolate sauce, sprinkles, you name it!

$3 scored me this delicious bag of mini’s that my family and I devoured in no time at all. Make sure you check them out! The farmer’s market stays open through Christmas week, so you’ve got some time. Oh, the joys of supporting locals!

These look amazing, and I love the idea of a doughnut fixin’ station. Sounds like a trip to the Baltimore farmers’ market is in order. Just popped on your blog after seeing your Techmunch comment on Twitter. Sorry we missed you!

I didn’t get to go this past Sunday but I’ll definitely stop by this Sunday. Looks so yummy.
